Active ingredients in Cialis (Tadalafil)
Cialis is the marketed name of the drug Tadalafil. The primary active ingredient in Tadalafil is Tadalafil, which is the origin for the name of the drug. Each pill contains Tadalafil in the amount of 20 mg.  Tadalafil pills also contain additional, non-active ingredients.

Cialis (Tadalafil) Dosage and Directions

Take Cialis exactly as your doctor prescribes. For most men, the recommended first dosage is 10 mg. Take at least 30 minutes before, or even up to 12 hours prior to sex, to allow for the maximum results and effectiveness. Cialis shouldn’t be taken more than once a day, and one should consult a doctor if taking any other medications.

Missing a Dose

If you miss a dose, then take the next dosage as soon as you can. Then, adjust all following doses accordingly. (For example: If you normally take your pill at 9am, but forget about it until 1pm, then take a pill, and continue taking all following pills at 1pm from that period)

Only use Cialis as directed by your doctor.

Research has shown that the use of Tadalafil can cause problems for a very limited group of users. This group of subjects all had the following pre-existing conditions:

·        Severe or moderate renal failure

• Hepatic insufficiency
• Extreme cases of end stage renal failure causing Haemodialysis

*In all cases the maximum dosage that has been tested is 10 mg of Tadalafil.

Special instructions for the elderly:

The standard dosage of 10mg is safe for all adults regardless of age. Studies did not show any increased health risks for those above 65 years of age. Unless you have a pre-existing condition or are taking other medication then there should be no side effects. In the case that you do have a pre-existing condition or are taking other medications, please consult with your doctor first.

Storage

Cialis (Tadalafil) should always be stored at room temperature (between 59 and 86 degrees F, or between 15 and 30 degrees C). Always keep pills in the original container in order to ensure full effectiveness.
